GOGGLEBOX STAR PAT WEBB DIES AGED 75 AFTER ‘LONG ILLNESS’

Pat Webb, a cherished cast member of the British TV show Gogglebox, passed away at 75 following a prolonged illness. Channel 4, in a statement, mourned her loss: “We are deeply saddened to announce that Gogglebox star Mummy Pat Webb passed away… after a long illness. Pat was a much loved cast member on the show from series 10 -12 alongside her son Stephen.”

Her son, Stephen Webb, honored her on Instagram, calling her “one in a million” and “the salt of the earth,” underscoring her kindness and importance to their family. Fans expressed their condolences on social media, with many highlighting the sense of loss felt by the Gogglebox community.

Stephen, a longstanding Gogglebox participant since 2013, initially joined with Christopher Steed and later appeared with Pat. He continues on the show with his partner, Daniel Lustig-Webb. The Sun reports that Gogglebox families receive £1,500 monthly for their contributions, watching 12 hours of TV each week for the show.
