Matthew Perry, renowned for his role as Chandler Bing in Friends, has sadly passed away at 54. His lifeless body was found in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home. Friends, the iconic ’90s sitcom, captured the lives of six New York friends and concluded in 2004 with a record-breaking 52.5 million US viewers. Warner Bros, the show’s producer, described Perry as a “true gift to us all.”

Despite battling addiction during his Friends years and candidly admitting to missing three years of filming due to substance issues, Perry earned an Emmy nomination in 2002 for his portrayal of Chandler Bing. After Friends, he embarked on various TV projects, including The West Wing and Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip. His last significant TV role was in The Odd Couple, lasting three seasons.
