Tom Selleck ditches his trademark mustache and looks unrecognizable

Tom Selleck, the 78-year-old actor known for his iconic mustache, has shocked fans by shaving it off. Selleck’s career started with humble beginnings, considering a career in athletics before pursuing acting. He faced setbacks and small roles before achieving fame as Thomas Magnum in “Magnum, P.I.,” a role that made him a household name and earned him an Emmy.

In 2010, he joined the cast of “Blue Bloods,” a show that has run for 13 seasons. Selleck, who often did his stunts, now acknowledges the toll it took on his body. He prefers staying fit by working on his 63-acre ranch in California.

Besides his acting career, Selleck is writing a book about his 50 years in show business. His mustache has been a trademark, but he recently appeared in public without it, sporting a full beard.

Despite his Hollywood success, Selleck’s priority has always been his family. He’s been married to Jillie Mack for over 35 years and values spending time with her and their daughter, Hannah, on their Ventura ranch.
