A collision occurred at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on Wednesday when a Japan Airlines aircraft, taxiing on the tarmac, struck a stationary Delta Air Lines plane. The Japan Airlines plane’s wing lodged into the tail of the parked Delta aircraft. Fortunately, there were no injuries. The incident happened near the S Concourse, causing no impact on flight operations. However, it went viral on social media, with passengers shocked by the unexpected collision. The FAA is investigating, and 15 flights were delayed or canceled. The event adds to growing concerns over aviation safety, following several recent incidents.
