Trump and Zelenskyy had a heated Oval Office meeting on February 28, joined by Vice President JD Vance, to discuss Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

In a tense exchange, Trump warned Zelenskyy, “You’re gambling with World War III!” He later posted on Truth Social, stating Zelenskyy “is not ready for peace if America is involved” and showed “disrespect” in the Oval Office.

Vance questioned whether Zelenskyy had thanked the U.S., referencing his past campaign appearance in Pennsylvania. Trump added, “Your country is in big trouble.”

The White House responded, with Trump’s adviser Margo Martin stating, “President Trump and Vice President Vance will always stand for America and those who respect our position in the world.”
