During a February 25, 2025, press briefing, Noem revealed that several individuals responsible for leaking sensitive information have been identified and will face termination and possible prosecution.

Noem emphasized the seriousness of the leaks, which she stated undermine federal efforts and endanger law enforcement officers. The agency has used “every tactic” available, including polygraph tests and email reviews, to track down the culprits.

Noem also criticized the FBI, linking them to a leak of a major ICE raid plan in Los Angeles earlier in February.
