Doctor makes bizarre claims about ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ as symptoms are revealed

A Republican doctor, Dr. Carole Lieberman, has sparked controversy by diagnosing left-leaning U.S. citizens with a condition called “Trump Derangement Syndrome” (TDS).

She claims it’s a legitimate psychological phenomenon, describing it as an emotional response to anything related to former President Trump. Lieberman asserts that individuals with TDS exhibit irrational thinking, aggression, and emotional instability when confronted with Trump’s policies, supporters, or even his name.

Some Republicans are seeking to label TDS as a mental illness, with a proposed bill in Minnesota. Critics, however, argue that such a diagnosis is politically motivated. Psychologist Dr. Holly Ann Schiff refutes the idea, stating that people’s violent reactions stem from Trump’s policies rather than a psychological condition.
