Alexander’s method involves placing a shallow bowl filled with about half a cup of olive oil in your garden or on your deck. After less than 24 hours, the bowl captured a significant number of earwigs. Within 36 hours, the results were even more remarkable, showcasing the effectiveness of this simple solution.

It appears that the earwigs are attracted to the olive oil, enter the bowl, and then struggle to escape.
