Story 1
I’m the woman who passed a man’s “money test.” A guy invited me to a cafe, and I ordered only what I could afford. When he suggested splitting the bill 50/50, I agreed without hesitation. The next day, I received a big bouquet and a note. He wrote that I was the first woman in his life who didn’t complain about splitting the bill or walk away.
Story 2
My younger sister is a devoted fan of a Spanish actor. Her enthusiasm borders on extreme—she’s joined auctions for items like his hair or a used napkin. Determined to be closer to him, she worked hard to attend a Spanish university in his city, learned Spanish fluently, and moved to a neighborhood nearby. While my mom finds it over-the-top, I admire her. Her obsession motivated her to change her life. She’s now been living in Spain for years, still a fan, and her boyfriend is fine with it. I’m proud of her accomplishments.
Story 3
My boss seems to have a knack for finding money—$100 here, $50 there. He believes found money doesn’t bring happiness, so he buys candy for our small team. Yesterday, I joked that it’s been a while since he found anything. Today, I arrived at work to find three giant bowls of candy. Turns out, he found $200 yesterday, and there were witnesses!
