Raised in Ohio amidst family struggles, his 2016 memoir Hillbilly Elegy brought him national fame. After serving in the military and working as a venture capitalist, Vance became Vice President of the United States.
Despite a troubled childhood with a drug-addicted mother, Vance excelled academically, attending Ohio State and Yale Law. Initially critical of Donald Trump, Vance later earned Trump’s endorsement, winning the Ohio Senate race in 2022.
Vance’s health issues delayed his inauguration, but he quickly recovered, becoming the youngest Vice President since Nixon.
