As of today, no active NFL player has been found deceased at home. However, former running back Calvin Jones, 54, recently passed away from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning.

Authorities found Jones unconscious in the basement of his Omaha, Nebraska home, with a running generator nearby, possibly used due to furnace issues. While early reports point to carbon monoxide poisoning, official confirmation is pending.
