Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s wife shares news on abducted children

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a former comedian, became the president of Ukraine and a global symbol of resilience since Russia’s invasion in 2022.

Despite the immense challenges, he has unwavering support from his wife, Olena Zelenska, who works tirelessly behind the scenes. Although she hasn’t been in the public eye as often, Olena has advocated for Ukrainian children abducted by Russia and fought to provide normalcy amidst the turmoil.

Born in 1978, Olena and Zelenskyy were raised in the same city and later married in 2003. They had two children and initially had no political aspirations. Olena later became involved in her husband’s career, and as First Lady, she focused on children’s health and school nutrition.

Following the 2022 invasion, Olena remained with her children in Ukraine, while Zelenskyy carried the nation’s weight. Despite strained circumstances, she remains strong and committed to advocating for Ukraine’s future.
