Actress Shannen Doherty, known for her openness about her cancer journey, has shared devastating news regarding her health. She revealed on Instagram that her recent CT scan showed metastasis in her brain and she is now undergoing radiation therapy for brain cancer.

Doherty expressed her fear and claustrophobia related to the treatment but also expressed gratitude for her doctors and medical team at Cedar Sinai. In a video, she showed herself receiving radiation therapy, reflecting the reality of living with cancer.

The actress was initially diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, which had metastasized. She underwent various treatments and achieved remission in 2017. However, in 2019, her cancer returned, and in 2020, she revealed that it had reached stage 4.

The recent news of brain metastasis has further deteriorated her health, and she is going through this difficult time without the support of her husband and family. Additionally, she announced her divorce from her husband, Kurt Iswarienko, after 11 years of marriage.

Amidst her struggle, Doherty received messages of support from friends in the industry. Kevin Smith and Selma Blair, among others, expressed their unwavering support and encouraged her to stay strong.
